Inside The Closet of Chase Young.

In our latest YouTube closet tour feature, we stepped inside the stylish world of former Ohio State All-American and first-round 2020 draft pick Chase Young. His art-filled home set the stage for an engaging exploration of his multiple closets, each serving a unique purpose. As we delved into his personal style, we learned about his love for New Balance, his approach to putting together outfits, and a special closet at the end of the tour that showcased his unique flair.

Chase welcomed us with a quick fit check, rocking the Klutch X NB Short Sleeve T-Shirt, Klutch X NB Short Sleeve shorts, and the unreleased Jack Harlow x New Balance 1906R, which was gifted to him early. Truly a perfect fit for a cozy day in the crib.

Next, we ventured into the first part of his closet, which Chase described as the space for his jackets, pants, and outfits for a night out downtown. He summed up his fashion philosophy, stating, “How I would describe my fashion: I’m a simple guy. Most of the time, I rock a white tee, a cool pair of pants, and let my shoes do the talking.” This approach highlights his preference for a laid-back style that lets his footwear stand out.

Moving on to closet number 2, we discovered more of his semi-formal attire, complete with jackets, pants, and a collection of sneakers. Chase emphasized his method for crafting outfits, revealing, “In terms of what I’m thinking about right before I go out… my fit. I definitely start with my shoes and build up from there because, obviously, I always want my shoes to pop.” It’s clear that footwear plays a vital role in his overall look.

He elaborated on his game day style, noting, “Game day, I definitely like to change it up and become a lot more flashy. You might catch me with a lot more color on… maybe even a netted shirt, some flared jeans, and a crazy pair of sneaks.” This insight into his evolving style reflects his confidence and willingness to experiment.

As we wrapped up closet number 2, Chase mentioned his pride in being a New Balance athlete, sharing that he keeps a pair of New Balance shoes in every closet he owns. But the highlight was yet to come: a fully decked-out New Balance closet filled with everything from shoes to sweats and shirts for his third. It was a true testament to his affinity for the brand.

But the highlight was yet to come: a fully decked-out New Balance closet filled with everything from shoes to sweats and shirts for his third. It was a true testament to his affinity for the brand.

Chase highlighted a few of his favorite New Balance pieces, including the 1906s, which he stocks up on, and the Klutch Athletics power suit, which he works out in regularly. He also expressed his admiration for the New Balance x Jaden Smith MSFTSrep 0.01, so much that he had to get them in both colors.

We then moved over to the shoe wall, where Chase showcased some of his other favorites, like the 2002s, 530s, 650s, and the iconic 990s. He shared his deep connection to the 990s, stating, “The big reason I feel like my love for New Balance started comes from these 990s. As you know, being from the DMV, New Balance 990s, 991s, and 992s are part of our culture. If you see anybody from Maryland or DC, you can ask them, and I know they have a pair of these.” This cultural tie resonates with many, reinforcing that sneakers are more than just footwear—they can be a statement of identity.

He further added, “It’s a really big thing in our culture, and you know this is part of the reason I wanted to make a real big statement with my closet. It’s really like New Balance is a part of me, especially when I throw these shoes on [990s].” This connection between culture, identity, and fashion makes Chase’s closet truly special, along with the sentimental reasoning behind becoming a New Balance ambassador.

As we concluded the tour, Chase hinted at his evolving style for the upcoming season, encouraging fans to keep an eye out for his game day fits. With a blend of casual confidence and bold experimentation, there's no doubt that Chase Young will continue to make a statement both on and off the field.
