Benjamin St-Juste, the Washington Commanders' standout cornerback, is making waves not only with his exceptional skills on the gridiron but also with his unmatched fashion sense. In an exclusive interview with Blitzfits for our "Fitted" series, St-Juste shares his love for fashion, the influence of Montreal, and his aspirations within the dynamic world of sports and fashion.

Reflecting on being recognized as part of the Blitzfits All-fits team last season, St-Juste expresses his appreciation for the platform it provides NFL players to express their passion for fashion and streetwear. "Being selected on the Blitzfits All-Fits team felt like a successful mission for me and my good friend Abdel Louissaint," he proudly remarks. "We're here to show the world how we do it."

Addressing the growing influence of fashion in football, St-Juste emphasizes that football players have always had style. "We might not fit the typical mold, but that doesn't stop us from looking fly. The NFL gives us the freedom to rock our pre-game outfits and express ourselves like no other league," he confidently states.

Off the field, St-Juste describes his personal style as versatile and fearless, just like his game on the gridiron. "I know what works for me and what fits my body well," he asserts. "My wardrobe is packed with versatility, from business casual to cozy fits, suit and tie, and streetwear. I set my own trends."

Hailing from Montreal, a city known for its vibrant diversity and thriving arts scene, St-Juste credits his fashion choices to the multicultural influences around him. "Growing up, I was exposed to different cultures, styles, and vibes. That's what makes our fashion interesting. We're a unique blend, and I'm proud to represent that," he explains.

When it comes to inspiration, St-Juste highlights the artists and icons who have left an indelible mark on him. "I'm feeling Skepta, Lukas Sabbat, and Ian Connor. They're doing their thing," he says. "But I gotta pay respect to the pioneers who paved the way for us, like Asap Rocky, Kanye West, and Virgil Abloh. They took fashion to a whole new level."

Before game day, St-Juste meticulously plans his outfits in collaboration with his stylist and friend, Abdel. "A week ahead, we curate the perfect pieces. Whether it's SSENSE, Dover Street Market, or a thrift store find, we make sure the look matches the game location, climate, and significance," he emphasizes.

Looking ahead, St-Juste envisions taking his brand, The Originale, to new heights as a global football lifestyle brand. "I want to make an impact. Modeling is something I want to explore too. I'm comfortable in front of the camera, and I know how to make clothes look good," he shares.
